Saddiq Hafeez is the Founder and President of Slide Inc. and the founder of Slide Transportation LLC, a healthcare transportation company established in 2019 and operating in the Chicago metropolitan area. He brings nearly two decades of experience across finance, real estate, and service-based business operations, with a proven track record of building and scaling revenue-generating assets.
Saddiq began his professional career in 2005 as a licensed mortgage loan officer, gaining early exposure to financial structuring, capital allocation, and client acquisition. He later expanded into real estate investment, where he successfully executed multiple renovation and resale projects between 2006 and 2012, generating over $5 million in gross sales. His experience in identifying undervalued assets, deploying capital strategically, and improving operational performance established a strong foundation in disciplined growth and execution.
In 2014, he founded Relux Hair Studio, a full-service salon based in Maywood, Illinois. Over the course of five years, he built the business into a stable, revenue-producing operation before successfully exiting the company through a sale in 2019. This experience further strengthened his ability to build, operate, and exit a service-based business while managing staff, customer relationships, and day-to-day operations.
Recognizing inefficiencies and fragmentation within the healthcare transportation industry, Saddiq launched Slide Transportation in 2019. Since entering the NEMT space, he has developed a deep understanding of transportation logistics, regulatory compliance, and revenue optimization. He has identified a key gap in the market—many operators rely solely on broker-based contracts, limiting profitability. In contrast, his strategy focuses on securing private-pay facility contracts, which offer higher margins and more stable revenue streams.
Saddiq has consistently demonstrated a disciplined approach to capital deployment, investing in high-return assets across each of his ventures, including real estate improvements, business infrastructure, and transportation vehicles. His operational philosophy centers on efficiency, scalability, and strategic reinvestment to drive long-term growth.
His long-term vision for Slide Inc. is to build a vertically integrated healthcare transportation platform that expands beyond non-emergency medical transportation into ambulance services, air transport, and medical logistics, with the goal of becoming a leading operator in a highly fragmented industry.
